A Sordid Confession

What a lovely day! Slept late, puttered about for a bit, did some reading. Then out for a late lunch/early dinner at one of our favorite places. Next stop Barnes and Noble. Here's my sordid confession: I was so tempted by a trashy novel with the title "Seduced by a Highlander". Because seriously...it was like the words were being shouted out at me in a big booming dramatic voice. Plus the cover also said it was by the author of "Ravished by a Highlander". Which seemed a little out of order to me; shouldn't the seducing come first? Anyway, needless to say, I came to my senses, bought an Anne Taintor calendar, and came home unscathed, unseduced, and unravished by any stray Highlanders.

Now I'm curled up with the dvd set of "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.", enjoying my evening with Bruce Campbell and his chin.
