nothing important

I just really hate shopping for a new car. Hate it. Hate. It.

You *still* doing that? Ergh. Sorry the Highlander didn't work out.

BTW - you watch Rome, right? I want an AU Highlander story with Methos as Brutus now, dang it!!

Sorry to hear that! Is the color not right or.... well, good luck!!

:-(
If you need advice, Dr. Husband is a wacky car nerd and knows all the best and worst features of cars. And he likes to feel useful.
Especially when all he'll be doing tomorrow is being told repeatedly to get out of the kitchen!

But you get a NEW

car when you're done!!! And it will smell so goooooood too! Can't wait to hear what you end up with! :)

I pity you. I HATE shopping for cars - I plan to drive Francine ('97 Honda Civic) until she dies, hopefully 10 minutes after I do.

Rome? Of course! OMG, the last two eps were just...GUH! Methos as Brutus? Wow, what a concept. Now I can't get that out of my head!

It's not any one thing. I'm just too neurotic for my own good sometimes. It's nothing *rational*!

[identity profile] duffy-99.livejournal.com 2005-11-24 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, thanks for offering me your husband! :-)
But seriously, no one else should have to be subjected to my craziness in this situation! Let me tell you, missy, it ain't pretty.

I can't wait to see what I end up with either! I said the hell with it today, and went to see Harry Potter instead.

Your icon! You pity me! BWAHAHA! Thanks for the pity. I wish you and Francine both a long and happy life together. The only thing that would make car shopping pleasant would be if my boyfriend Jim Ellison went with me...

Of course I wouldn't let him *drive* the car after we bought it.

Okay, can't fault you for choosing HP. :) If it helps (and it probably doesn't) but I chose an Explorer and I LOVE IT! But you've probably already looked at them, right?

I saw the actor and - although he's not as handsome as our Mr. Wingfield - I thought there was some resemblance - and the angsty "torn between friendship and duty" thing just struck me as very Methos.

I *heart* Titus and Lucius.

Ooooo... I saw Potter with boyfriend and boy last weekend. I'm not a big fan of the books or anything (they are), but the effects are always so AWESOME and the story tends to be fairly intriguing as well.

I thought that I was the only person in the world who hasn't read *any* of the books, and have only seen the three previous movies on DVD. But I enjoyed every one of them and the previews for this one looked so good that we actually ventured forth and saw it on the big screen. I loved it. Since they're fans, what did boyfriend and boy think?

Immensely enjoyable... although it had been a while since the book came out, so I'm not sure how much of the original plot(s) got remembered while in the theater. I know some folks were complaining about bits that didn't get included. Not being a fan of the books, I'm free to enjoy the movies as-is.
