Since I'm sure you're all just dying to know how I have wasted my entire day,
Today was the day that I was finally scheduled to be "put on the domain" at work. It was every bit as painful as it sounds. What should have taken 1-2 hours ended up taking more like four. The only redeeming bit was that our IT guy is pretty cute and really nice, so I just sat and watched him type really really fast on my keyboard for a long time. And sometimes I would just pretend that I was in Atlantis and Rodney was fixing my computer. And then of course John would come in and we would go make out.
But I digress...Anyway it took forever, so I couldn't get done what I needed to do. But mostly now I'm grumpy because I no longer have control over my hard drive at work and all my documents are on the shared network, which means no more smut at work. And yes, yes, yes, (shakes Rodneyfinger in the air for emphasis) I know I was being careless anyway so this is actually better for me. But that doesn't mean I have to like it. And now I have completely new versions of Outlook and Word and Excel and everything looks weird! And where's my sig line? And I want my old fonts. And can I still play songvids? And and and....//wails pitifully//
Sorry to subject you to this, but I do so hate it when I just feel *stupid*. Grrr...
