Marc Singer was the first celebrity encounter I had three years ago at Comic Con. I was standing in line for something else and no one was at his autograph table, so he just got up and came over to us and started shaking hands. I was pleasantly freaked out!
ETA: Did you see the pilot of the new series at CC this year? It looks wonderful!
and felt helpless against the onslaught of memories it brought back. *G* It was cheesy scifi that was actually good for its time. :) Here's hoping the new version is as good for its time! LOL!
OMG, it did bring back the memories, that's for sure! I've seen the pilot and thought it was fantastic. Looked great, and I was immediately hooked. But it remains to be seen whether it will be as FUN as the original!
my only beef with this new one (okay, two beefs) is A) Adria gets an ABC series, but Michael can't?????? (not to mention Joe!!!!) and B) it looks as though they've reversed roles (male characters now female and vice versa) - which could be good, but will take getting used to. :)
It's *very* different. Same basic concept, but very different execution. Morena B. is really quite perfect in it. Personally I wish Joe had gotten the lead in Flash Forward; THAT would have been SO perfect! As for Michael, I think he really impressed the Burn Notice producers so I'm hoping that might pay off for him somehow. And I wish David would get something and come home. I miss all our guys!
