Thoughts on the new Doctor

Wish I hadn't seen Matt Smith interviewed on a talk show. He wasn't very endearing and didn't impress me much. YMMV, of course! But I've liked what I've seen of his portrayal as Eleven, so I'm keeping an open mind.
