A friend and I are trying to explain to another friend the popularity of "turn them into animals" fic in the SGA fandom. We are not succeeding! She still just thinks we're nuts.

Oh yes, it's very odd. The penguin fics are sweet, and the dolphin fics are nice, but some of the others are waaaay out there in crack-land
