Went to see the Cyndi Lauper True Colors tour the other night. Joan Jett was the highlight for me. Her version of "Who can turn the world on with her smile" (yes, the theme song from the Mary Tyler Moore show!) is not to be missed!

The B52s were fun too. 5,000 people dancing their asses off to "Love Shack" was a hoot!

*blink* Joan and the Bs are part of the Cyndi tour? I'm sort of scared that this is like the embarrassing local country fesitvals with 40 yr out of date crooners, but wow, I believe that must have been quite good.

Hee, I know what you mean! But they were quite good, all did a mix of old and new material. Not embarrassing yet! Joan was amazing, definitely the highlight for me.
