Not Enough Fudge in the World

I've had the week from hell, and I've been so proud of myself for getting through it and getting things accomplished, and I've just been looking forward to Friday night when I could totally relax and enjoy my favorite show. Well hey, you all know what happened to spoil that! Now Friday night will be bittersweet. At least it gives me two days to find a place that will deliver fudge and martinis.

For any non-SGA fans who may read this, SciFi proved itself once again to be the Most Stupid Network in All the Land by cancelling Stargate Atlantis. Oh SciFi, you've hurt me so many times and I've always come crawling back to you. Somehow this time I don't think so. I'll put your stuff out in the hall; come pick it up anytime but don't bother to knock. I won't be home.

I just heard about SGA this morning. What a bummer! I thought it was doing very well for SF channel. I mean, they're gonna be losing Battlestar soon, and SG1 is already gone - what are they thinking, canceling SGA??

I'm so sorry!!

So sorry to hear this! (Even though season 5 didn't grab me at all)

Makes me happy that this is the week I cancelled my cable because there is just pretty much NOTHING I need TV for anymore... everything I like is either available online or (eventually) on Netflix because it is (1) old or (2) cancelled. Well, except for Dexter, Dr. Who and Battlestar, but I'll figure those out when the time comes.

I don't get the logic behind cancelling good shows. If it's the DVR ratings, the fact that so many people are TiVoing their favorite shows -- won't that mean that they'll have to cancel every show as soon as people get hooked enough to TiVo it? They'll have a perpetual revolving door.
