Richard Dean Anderson did a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live last night in a series of "MacGruber" sketches. A delightful surprise, and I adore him beyond all boundaries of adorability. Here's the first one: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=tTc4ywZdWns

I adore this with a great big giant adore - he's such a good combo of late series grumpy!MacGyver and Jack O'Neill.

I just love him because he's such a character and so much his own person, no matter what. I crack up every time I remember that he didn't want to leave the stage at Comic Con, because we hadn't seen his new outfit yet.

He will never lose his powers of awesome.

Sadly they really were Pepsi commercials. One of them was on the Superbowl.

His makeup job didn't look so hot, but I was glad to see him anyway.

No, really? I had no idea! Oh well, I won't quibble with any excuse to see RDA. Yeah, there was something hinky with his makeup but he's always gorgeous to me.
