Happy, Day Four (belated)
Friday was a busy day for me. Started out rocky at work, but then turned around. Very productive meeting and then successfully met a couple of deadlines in the afternoon. (This is not the happy part yet.) Worked like a busy little bee all day, because I had to get things cleaned up because I'm going to be off work all this week. So YAY!
Since I stayed late to finish up things, it was about 6:00pm when I left work. That time on a Friday, campus was nearly deserted. As I walked across campus to my car, the evening light was just perfect, a cool breeze promising rain had just sprung up, the desert trees, wildflowers, plant life were all blooming and colorful and gorgeous. I was relaxed and looking forward to my time off. It was just a perfectly peaceful happy moment.
Then more happy in the evening: watched two of my favorite shows "Terminator : Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Life". Both make me so happy because they're just so damn good. I watch them and think "why isn't everyone watching these?". So go on, rest of America, watch all the dreck you want. My shows are SO DAMN GOOD. *clutches them to try to keep them safe from cancellation although that is probably futile*
Then to top it off I watched the second episode of the new HBO series "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency". Happy Happy Happy! If you can watch this show and not smile with delight, then you don't have a heart. It makes my heart sing.
So that was my Happy Friday!
