1. I haven't had time to investigate Dreamwidth much at all. But I was lucky enough to get a free invite code in a drawing, so I do have a place set up there now. I took the opportunity to drop the annoying underscore and 99 from my name, so I'll just be plain ole' duffy over there.
2. Watched "I am Legend" the other night. It was half of a really good movie. The other half, not so much.
3. Went to see "State of Play" yesterday. Always think I don't like Russell Crowe until I see him, but then I remember he can act like nobody's business. He just disappeared into the charcter. A nice grown-up movie with great acting all around. Also probably the last movie you'll ever see set at a daily newspaper.
4. Made the mistake of watching the news. "The Stand" has been in the number one spot on my list of all-time favorite books ever since it first came out. I hope I do not have to rethink this...

what do you have to rethink
The Stand
Oh, and Hi! *waves* I can't recall if I've ever posted here before (I tend to lurk), but I enjoy your posts! :)
Re: what do you have to rethink
Did you read the John/Rodney fic that was very much an homage to The Stand? It was fabulous. I'll find it for you if you don't have it.
I also liked the mini-series a lot. Some strange 1980s (90s?) casting, but it mostly worked. And they did a *much* better job on it than I ever dreamed they could do.
Re: The Stand
*waves back* I always mean to post more, but I just don't get around to it very often. But glad to be enjoyed!
