OK, Eleven, I'm going to try and love you. I really am. We are not off to a great start, but it could have been worse. I promise to try harder next week if you will.
I have liked all the companions before this, although it's probably good that I fell in love with Rose during the first season. After DT came along, she did get mopey and I never really believed that he would love her that much. I guess if push came to shove, I'd say that Martha Jones was my favorite but that's not really fair because Donna is just sort of in a class of awesome all by herself!
OMG, now I miss Donna! Trust me, she would wipe the floor with this new little girl.
But....we shall see.
ETA: If you do watch, there's a child actress that does a bang-up magnificent job. And Matt Smith's interactions with her are just lovely. That's one of the reasons I think he may surprise me in the future.
