Down on the Farm

I'm going to go visit my parents and other assorted family in another state far far away, and that means no internet access for a week. No email. No LJ. No groups. No fic. Nothin'. Actually that's always kind of relaxing and cleansing, but at the same time ARGH! //sounds of hair being pulled out and fingernails being chewed// At least I will have my PDA full of lovely smut to read. Had a huge crisis yesterday when all of a sudden I couldn't read documents on it anymore, but finally figured out the problem and fixed it. Which means, of course, that if it was something that I could actually fix, *any* idiot could have fixed it! But I was proud of myself all the same. //hugs self and PDA chock-full-o-smut//

I also just realized that chances are pretty slim (understatement!) that my parents will want to watch SG Atlantis and BSG Friday night, so I won't get to see them until I get back. SOB! Oh well, I'm sure the delayed gratification will make John and Rodney and the gang all the more delightful. I'll just keep telling myself that anyway.
