Please Excuse My Bitching
Dec. 9th, 2008 12:34 pmI don't do this often in public, so allow me to bitch and moan just a teeny bit, OK? I stopped reading Mallozzi's blog awhile ago. Don't know what made me peek at it today, but I saw this entry:

1. Thank God for Paul Mullie.
2. Neither Mallozzi or Gero should ever be allowed to write "relationship" storylines ever again.
3. What kind of actual PLOTS could we have seen in season 5 if they'd spent their time actually trying to come up with some creative storylines? That would have been nice.
4. As sad as I will be not to see John and Rodney and Joe and David every week on my TV, I guess I'm glad that SGA was cancelled. I'm not sure I could stand to see what else they'd do.
I'm sure Mallozzi and Gero are lovely people. I wish them well. See, I'm not really such a bitch after all. :-)
Non SGA-related bitching:
1. I used to be able to just work through a cold, walk it off, whatever you want to call it. Now I seem to be 105 years old, and a simple cold just wipes me out. I've missed two days of work, and all I do is sleep. Well, and bitch obviously. I feel like crap.
2. Rumors of layoffs at my institution. I'm fairly confident that I'm safe, but it is still stressful. I've always worked for public institutions, and economic crises have always been managed without actual layoffs before. Maybe not this time. It's scary.
3. Various and sundry doctor's appointments and medical tests this month. ACK. Why do they schedule these things right before the holidays? "Let's add MORE stress to your life, OK?"
And that's it. Bitching is now officially OVER. Nothing but goodness and light coming up, I promise!
